As in 2010 we have a workshop in Norway. Same venue as earlier about 1 hours drive North of Oslo or 45 mins from Oslo-Gardermoen Airport.
The Venue is called Alvehoy ('Hill of the Elves') and is run by Elisabeth Finseth and Willy Pedersen. Both also interested in drums and shamanism. Elisabeth and Willy participated in 2007 and 2008, and they have really good facilities including as well outdoor workspace as indoor workspace.
Alvehoy has good BB facilities and a really good kitchen that prepares food mainly based on Ayurvedian principles.
The date of the drummaking workshop in 2011 is June 26th - 28th. Price: £240 plus food and lodging

Fridag 7pm to about 10pm
Saturday 10am to 5pm
Sunday 10am to no later than 3pm
This workshop is followed by a workshop with drum singing and dancing, June 28th - 30th. Price: £200 plus food and lodging

The fee for the workshop covers the tuition and standard material for one drum which is one board for the frame and reindeer skin. Wood and suede for a drumstick is also included.
Extra material, such as hand cured drumskin from goat etc. and antlers for handles and drumsticks in limited quantities can be bought at extra price at the workshop.
